Mid-century fans are stripped, primed and painted a variety of rich eye catching colors and re-purposed into lamps. They are fitted with a solid brass socket cluster and 3 or 4 brass bulb sockets. Depending on the size of the fan the lights used are either 40 watt Edison bulbs (2500-3000 hour life) or 7.5 watt frosted white bulbs.

In addition, brass or bronze grommets are used to embellished the piece where ever possible. Any original brass parts are restored and kept on the piece as with original on/off toggle, rotary or slider switches. Dimmer switches are used on larger fans where possible. Power cords are either black plastic or braided cloth with retro style plugs depending on the piece. All are felted on the bottom as to protect any furniture they are placed on.

Sizes range between 7 x 9 on the small end up to 17 x 24 for the larger ones. Depending on the size and materials used prices range between $150-$475. These are lamps only and do not spin.
